Blogging Analytics Slides
Slides from yesterday's ITZone talk.
Sections: Business
The talk at the ITZone seems to have been well received. I am putting up the slides in slideshow mode for everyone to profit from. One of the key things in the slides is the links I placed to various examples of how you could use blog analytics from blogpulse, technorati, pubsub, and even google.

During the post-presentation Q&A you mentioned a tool on Yahoo and said you would link to it from your website. Sorry - I don't remember what the name/function of this tool was - just that it piqued my interest. It wasn't one of the links in your slides. Any chance you know what I am referring to and can give us the link? Thanks! Great presentation!

Just checked my notes from the presentation and found a description of the tool: "A Yahoo service that will produce a list of keywords from a web page". Ring any bells?

The service that will list a series of key words from a web page is the Yahoo term extraction service available at:
http://developer.yahoo.net/content/V1/termExtraction.html
You will need to provide the web page as a string (i.e., requires fetching and preprocessing the web page). It's a developer version now, so you are limited to 5000 queries per day.
