A 46% rise in online spending is unbelievable. How many people actually do that much looking online? It may be that online responsiveness is better when targeted, and online targeting is easier.

Goodman: AdSense Teetering?
Google-placed ads are not generating that much revenue for webloggers. This sort of deflates the notion of blogs as new media. Or at least, the new media will have to work on a different revenue model than the old media.
